DAY 12: No Explanation Needed
I learned something recently, that it's okay to live on without an explanation.
We often think the world is so fixated on what we're doing, so we try to explain everything. Why something ended. Why we paused. More like presenting ourselves in a way that says : No, I wanted to, I tried to. I know what I'm doing...
The thing is, anyone who isn't living in your skin will never fully comprehend. Nobody asked, but once you explain, they become curious.
I don't think life is meant to be lived like a script, automated and responding to every expectation.
A life filled with vast possibilities doesn't belong in a box of tailored explanations. It's not for limitless edges to know only four corners.
Take me, for example. I thought I'd make a comeback with a good piece today, like I am "supposed" to, after weeks of silence.
But I had nothing planned.
No big inspiration breaking forth from some '“glorious” source. My mind only sat, calm...like still water.
Today wasn't so eventful. It just passed. Like it was doing its part. I did the same, lived the part.
Staring at the bright object in my hands, typing words as they come, forming patterns on their own.
I’ve noticed something:
I don’t really “write” when I try to be a good writer. I write when I let it come alive the way it wants to.
I prefer it unplanned. That way, it doesn’t try to fit in. I’m going to hit “publish” on this, and it will just… go. Existing, just like that.
And I think that’s really beautiful.
Creating doesn’t have to be complicated, It finds depth in the minds that are willing to see it.
